Linux 6.12/13 kernel?

Hi guys,
I own a laptop with one of the latest intel ultra cpus and there are a bunch of compatibility issues. I’ve tried fedora, ubuntu and kubuntu but each one has a problem. For example, fedora doesn’t recognise the display adapter, no WiFi, no Bluetooth. Cannot change brightness of display.
Kubuntu recognises the display adapter, but graphics is broken. Lots of artifacting and stuttering. There is WiFi but no Bluetooth or audio. Not usable due to graphics issues.
Ubuntu for some reason only had the display adapter working but still had the stuttering issues. No sound, Bluetooth
Linux 6.12 is coming out shortly, is that compatible with the latest intel ultra graphics? My graphics is called Intel Arc 140v
Thanks

You can try the 6.12 kernel on any distro.

How dare you call void alpine gentoo and nix niche >:
nicothekiller@reddit
I mean.... they are. They're really cool, don't get me wrong, but they are still niche. Nix and gentoo are a bit less niche, but still niche.

Install the mainline app and get the 6.11 kernel

Fedora Rawhide has the 6.12 kernel, whereas Fedora 41 currently have 6.11.
Rawhide is not recomended for daily usage though.
Fedora 41, OpenSuse Tumbleweed, and Arch is probably the most likely (non beta/testing) candidates for getting the 6.12 kernel first.
That being said, nothing is stopping you from either install whatever distro you like, and then compile your own kernel from the latest source, or include a 6.12 kernel package as an "update" during installing.

Try linux mint or fedora silver blue. 6.12 is still a few ways away. And will not be available on kubuntu for a good while. Mint will be in that boat too, but you chances are still higher there.
_KingDreyer@reddit
why don’t you install arch and then install the rc kernel or mainline kernel. or, you could install the fedora 41 beta
ChimeraSX@reddit
Fedora 41 is out of beta.
_KingDreyer@reddit
there’s still a fedora 41 beta with 6.12 i thoughts
Chaotic-Entropy@reddit
There is greater support for Xe2 based graphics in 6.12 apparently.

You could try an ultra supported distribution, out of the box, like Mint and Universal Blue images (like Bluefin or Bazzite if you're a gamer)
If even them don't work, I doubt you would be able to make it run smoothly for now
