Hello everyone. This is my first time building pc. I was on a budget so I got used MSI B550M Pro-VDH WiFi and used Ryzen 5600X and used RX 6700 XT. the RAM and SSD are new.
I know the CPU isn't compatible so I did flash bios update. But it will still show no display. the CPU has 3 pins that need to be straightened. But I assume it doesn't stop the pc from showing up on display

Did you plug your monitor into the motherboard?

No. To the GPU. I tried different monitor but still no display.

In this case, you'll need another compatible AM4 CPU to find out whether the problem is your used Ryzen 5 5600X or not.

All the leds on my motherboards are on. Does it mean something?

Come to think of it, what PSU model are you using with your first build?

Apevia Prestige 850W

I suggest getting a Zen 2 and above CPU and a better PSU (Tier B and above in Cultist PSU Tier list) in order to make sure what the problem is. I'm guessing it's either the CPU, PSU, or both.

How do I know the motherboard is not faulty?
Mr_Henry_Yau@reddit
Your motherboard leds are working.

So I changed the PSU and tried turning on the pc. But the CPU led is on. Could it be because the CPU has 3-4 bent pins?
Mr_Henry_Yau@reddit
Yes.

Are you connecting the HDMI cable to the gpu and not the motherboard? Bent pins can cause a variety of problems.
Alert-Increase-2838@reddit (OP)
Yes to the GPU. But no display. Could the bent pins be the problem?
IanMo55@reddit
Could be.
