The first one was art, because it resonated with people. The second one was the director throwing a shitfit because he doesn’t believe in death of the author. It’s the same with class of 09 flip side; fans like the work but in the “wrong way” or for the “wrong reason”, or they takahe away the “wrong message” or whatever, and then the author chimps out and smears shit across the canvas so no one can look at his art anymore.
