Everything on my PC is working except the RGB lights on my case fans

This is my first pic build and I bought the ASUS TUF Gaming GT501 Mid-Tower case. I finished the build today and the fans are running but there is no RGB. Is this something that is fixed with software or did I potentially mess the fan wiring up? I’ve seen builds on YouTube where people turn on their new computer and the RGB fans worked right away.

So,it looks like the options are that your rgb connectors are attached to the rgb controller which is powered by sata. This may have an on/off button (certainly not ideal if it lives inside your case) a better alternative is to discard the controller and connect the RGB fan connectors to the rgb header on your motherboard. Make sure to correctly identify the right header because the rgb and argb vary different voltage. What motherboard do you have? the rear fan isn't RGB, just the front ones. If the rgb is connected to the motherboard header, you will need to run the motherboard rgb software to set them up.

Had the same issue as OP. Your mention of the RGB controller being powered by SATA enabled me to fixed my issue!

Were you able to get it working?

Not the person you replied to, but I also had the same problem. I uninstalled the software and reinstalled it, then it worked after a quick reboot. Not sure if it will help your case but good luck if not!
