That's the problem, they never did. They had some of the tech, but no nukes regardless. Plus, the riech was in an absolutely horrible state internally, odds are against them actually retaining much of the territory they took. If they managed to get nukes, however, I can't see them being any more than a shorter lived and smaller USSR.

I don’t think that was the issue, no. The experts in it were Jewish, and so they left Europe. The Nazis definitely did do some research on it. They were more focused on wasting resources to kill civilians, whacky planes, and bigger more expensive tanks that would never have worked.
