5700X + Rx 6700XT good for 1440 high/ ultras for 2024/2025 ?

Hello , this is my first time making my pc so far I have these :
RX 6700 XT ( 410$)
R7 5700X ( 179$)
Mobo : B450 pro VDH (105$)
32Gb 3600MHZ DDR4 ( 85$)
90mm coller (19$)
1 TB SSD nvme M2 MSI (79$)
MSI MAG A650 80+ bronze 650 W ( 66$)
2k 27'' fast IPS 180 HZ monitor (190$)
Local brand case with 6 fans installed (55$)
Total : 1188$ ( I knew the price are fucked in my country , but it is the best i could afford in that tier) , my quesiton is this set up good for 1440p high/ultras with playable fps 60+ ? And any upgrade tips
2nd question : Is 5700x worth over 5600x ? Almost both at same price ( 10$ dif)

You can build am5 with a 6750xt and 7600x for about the same price (in USD) and get much better performance. Since this is a new build there is absolutely zero reason to build off of am4 if you can afford to go am5 🤷🏻♂️

That's at least 120$ of difference here ( the lowest i could find )

Oof :/ sorry bud. I’m sure there’s a more affordable option but I don’t know international markets and prices, sorry

There is almost no benefit to a 5700x over the 5600 (non X) 1%-2%. You'd be better off getting a 5600 and spending more on your gpu, and have you looked at used prices for a 5600/x and a 6800 or 6800XT gpu?

Ngl i don't trust a lot the used GPU cards , since they come with no guaranty at all , so it's a risk im not willing to take ( there are a lot of scammers)

The "key" is to not trust people and test the cards, I bought tons of used gpus but never buy them without testing them or I'll buy them on ebay where I have a 30 day return window, I never will buy anything on something like the Facebook Marketplace, and when I sell them I always ask or tell people they can test them if they like. And most importantly is I love buying from 1st time owners with proof of purchase and you can still buy used gpus under warranty. I bought a 3 month old Asrock 6700XT in Feb last year for only $270 that still had 18 months on the warranty.
The scam artists will never let a person test a gpu or they'll just let you do a quick test, but I always ask people to run 30 minutes of Furmark before I arrive and then have a few demanding games that I could test, and a few times I even brought my own system to a persons house to test a persons card or cpu.

I'm currently running a 5700X and a 6750XT (just a bit faster than the 6700XT) at 1440p and been playing Tekken 8 at 1440p Ultra Settings everything except motion blur w/c I hate. Since T8 is capped at 60fps, take this info as you will.
Tested it with Resident Evil 3: Remake, easily reaches a constant 100+ fps.

im probably going to run same setting , currently found a 6750xt at 420$
fakuryu@reddit
Its should be around $320 right now
adamosmaki@reddit
Is only 3-4% faster in games but for $10 is worth it. If you want to save money you might wanna look into 5600 (non x ) . Almost the same performance as 5600x and usually cost $20-30 less
Dont get a 90mm cooler . Do try and get a 120mm one. I mean is fine for 5700x but say you wanna upgrade to 5700x3d that cooler is gonna struggle

PS : I saw alot of reviews telling me that I can match my 5700x with newer GPU cards and still work fine , thats why I opted to take it form now in case i wanted to upgrade the GPU later

between 5600, 5600x and 5700x there is very little difference in gaming performance. All 3 are perfectly fine to pair with something up to 4070super/7900gre
However 5700x3d ( is different from 5700x ) is a good deal faster in gaming and might worth it if you plan to get a more powerful gpu ( something like a 7900xt/4080 )

Noted , yes the budget and the lack of AMD GPU is killing me ( litterlay surfed for around 4 days and reached page 7 of google to find someone buying in a trusty store . We have like 1000 NVIDEO GPU for 1 AMD GPU ratio

If by 2024/2025 you mean games that are being released now and next year, it *might* struggle with AAA ultra at 60+ fps
For everything else it will do easily. I swapped my 5700xt and was playing 1440p ultra, but older titles like AC Oyssey and such.

yes that's exactly what I meant , since im going to play a lot of older generaiton games ( Ive missed a lot due to work/ out of city studies) so now im going to play the games ive missed in last 5-6 years , and would love to have games from recent generation that have goodlocking graphics

Played around with a 6750XT for a bit with my 5600X3D this year. It was previously the 1440p price to performance champ, and if you can get it at $300 or less, it still is. 7700XT at $350 would probably be a better investment for a good three years of performance, things I noted:
-Older stuff still plays great.
-Newer stuff like The First Descendant sorta works okay, but at 1440p you've gotta turn some details down and for some reason it doesn't have full FSR3 support like the 7XXX line does
I think performance is going to continue to degrade over time but if you can get this at a great price it still makes a LOT of sense. I think if I'm going for a $1200 build though, I'm going at least 7700XT, 7800XT if I can find the extra dosh for it. That'll keep you going for years.

Would definetly love getting a 7700XT , but it's solde out to th epoint the only one i found was a used one and i don't trust used cards , I asked if any new batch is coming soon ( last time 7700xt was solde at 520$ for a huge discount , otherwise it's 700$+) I know our taxes on electronics is fucked up .
