The 1970 Bertone Shake, designed by Marcello Gandini on a Simca 1200 S Coupé base, debuted at the Paris Motor Show. Unlike typical Beetle-based buggies, it featured refined detailing. Two prototypes were built by Bertone, and two more by Matra, but the project was not pursued.

50% of those tyres are mounted in the wrong direction
ctennessen@reddit
What way should they be, and on what axle? Genuine question
radiorental1@reddit
Given this is a rear wheel drive vehicle, the threads on the front should support braking, on the rear its traction. Given both front and rear are the same, one of the axles has the tyres on the wrong way.
Motorcycles do this religiously
