Curious about the second front axel tie rod setup. Would guess he used a heavy duty steering gear from medium duty truck and ganged both steering linkages together
I used to be so into these kinds of customs in the late 80s. I’d go to the library and read all the issues of the custom car magazines that had all of these crazy conversion vans and other cars like this.

With some new paint and a (gutted) modernized interior I could live with it.
It is not the worst looking custom I’ve seen.
ozzy_thedog@reddit
It really needs a nose job. The rest of the exterior is great
Imbecilliac@reddit
Agreed, it does have shades of Pontiac Aztek in there, like something Walter White would have driven to make his meth deliveries.
Plump_Apparatus@reddit
Aye, can't agree enough.
Doesn't even look like a van, apart from maybe the ugliest of all minivans, the Trans Sport.
55pilot@reddit
It takes up a lot of parking spaces.
Scububa@reddit
Reminds me of the Japanese bullet train.

If there's any vehicle that epitomizes the term "fuck ugly" better than this, please don't show me.
Benegger85@reddit
This looks so ridiculously over the top! So much better than a standard camper!
Why don't they sell more interesting camper vans? If this guy went commercial he could make a buck or two.
Electrocat71@reddit
“I’d but that for a dollar!”

That thing is crazy.
Now, having seen the interior photos... That thing is crazy disgusting.
Looks sleazier than a well used 80s Scarab speedboat.
allcazador@reddit
Imagine the smell
ShouldersBBoulders@reddit
Needs a truck stop hand sanitizer station. They can put it next to the condom vending machine.
Eli_Seeley@reddit
Horf.... every surface looks sticky
biorogue@reddit
That paint job is awesome...van, not so much.
graveslids@reddit
Self, I said, that has to be in Florida.
See Birmingham.
Shrug to myself, Alabama. Close enough.
MiTruckGuy@reddit (OP)
Birmingham, Michigan.
graveslids@reddit
Fair enough, still like my story better 😅

Wonder how quick this thing can move. This thing launching / moving at high speeds is something I’d pay money to see.

Wow that lead me down a worm hole of wild ass 60-70-80s van culture…
