Pc will shut down immediately after pressing power switch, but starts up fine after pressing it again

So I have this issue with my new build recently.
I’ll go to turn my PC on and almost instantly as i press the power button my pc will shutdown. I’ll press it again and everything works fine. This doesn’t happen all the time though. Sometime I’ll go to power on and turns on normally.
Any help is appreciated.
Specs: Motherboard - Gigabyte b650 aorus elite ax v2 Cpu - Ryzen 7 7700x Ram - Corsair DDR5 6400 CL36 (2x16gb) Gpu - Asus Tuf 4070 TiSuper PSU - Evga supernova 1000w g5
Side note (not sure if this is important) as of recent, one of my ram sticks no longer illuminates on start up. If i start up icue software, it will work as normal.

Update bios. It certainly seems like a RAM issue, when it restarts go into bios and see if it dropped the RAM to default DDR5 frequency (lower than 6400mhz).
IF your ram is not stable enough to boot, it will reboot and remove the expo overclock to make it stable.

Thank you for your advice. I did everything i possibly could (updated the bios like suggested ) but nothing. I even removed the ram just to see if the issue would occur again (which it did). Finally decided to completely disassemble my pc and test a few things out. Found my problem and it was my PSU.

Glad you figured it out, that was the next step.
