Estonian Civil Defense Manual

For folks who are just starting out on their preps this manual is one of the better government documents I’ve come across, published by the government of Estonia.
Some very well thought out scenarios to think about, everything from Tuesday to Doomsday

Manual is also available in Estonian and Russia

It's really sad but it's a necessary thing for every Estonian to have a copy of this.

Also Erockians and Epebblians.

Found the dad! Hey, give me back my nose!

As my old squad sergeant would say, "F*ckin' A' Tweety!".

Same is true for Lithuania and Latvia.

Might want to add Romania, Poland, and Finland to the list this coming year.

Yeah... it is what it is.

Great stuff and good to see the government taking prepping seriously.

I like that each section has two clearly separated parts, what to before a particular emergency and what do during that emergency.

Very universal, basic good advice.

Their app is pretty good as well (content is available in English): https://www.kaitseliit.ee/en/ole-valmis-be-prepared-mobile-app-now-in-three-languages

Glad they say this "Cash to cover your family’s needs for one week"
shikkonin@reddit
Well, what did you expect?

Love how thorough this is, and also that it has practical stuff including communications considerations. Thanks for the post!
DeFiClark@reddit (OP)
The one thing they dont mention in the comms page is postal service. Make sure you have the mailing addresses of family and friends in a durable non electronic format.
MmeHomebody@reddit
Good catch! I think in some other countries it's not completely totally electronic like the U.S. When I went to Mexico I realized although everyone had a phone, they also had an address list with them, maybe because they are more familiar with disruptions?

Nice find. Also nice to see a government document talking about at least 7 days and not 3 days of supplies.
Coldhearted010@reddit
Can't believe that this is in English! Cool! It's a cool starting manual.
