Western Express Vs Schneider or job recommendations.

Western driver here with almost a year accident free under my belt. Wondering if any drivers here have experience at both companies and their opinions on the two companies. Is schneider a better company? Thanks in advance!
Any other recommendations for companies to look into would be awesome! I have tanker and doubles triples endorsement as well, so if you have any suggestions on jobs that would use either endorsement throw them in the ring please!

Schneider has decent dedicated accounts, but their regional pay is just as bad as Felon Express.
Where are you located?

Once you get two years experience maybe even one year, try a union or pay per hour company that pays you every second that you are in the cab like fueling and stuck in traffic. That is the only fair way to pay. Look into LTL , grocery like vons alberston etc. For me it is ports union we get paid hourly with OT over 8 hours and it is monday to friday home everyday job. Pay per mile or pay per activity or load robs the trucker. Wish more people would know and move away from that pay structure.

It really depends on where you live. I've heard decent things about Leonard's Express, I drove for Decker and had a good experience there. Western Express was horrible, but at the time, they actually had better cpm than Schneider was offering. If you're PNW and want to do flatbed, Smokey Point Distribution is a good one.

I hesitate to use the words better and Schneider in the same sentence but i guess vs western sure….
I would write them both off for life if you’re coming up on your year tho lol

If you're interested in reefer. WEL Companies is good. They run me pretty good. No complaints.

Schneider is a better situation.

Western Express is known as a 2nd ot last chance carrier. At least that's what I've picked up on. They'll hire you whenever pretty much anyone else won't. When I was looking to get in during covid, my dad recommended going to Schneider. Their school wasn't running at the time. They do have a tanker division, so that is definitely something to talk to their recruiter about. Look up a list of questions to ask a trucking recruiter before you call. Good luck, and keep the shiny side up!
