this may like a dumb question but my knowledge on this is a bit limited so i just wanted to get others peoples thoughts or people who have similar experainces.

I have a 58W i3 12100f and Rx 6600 and its great but I've thought about upgrading to a Rx6800 and using a 65W i5-13400f in the coming months. I have a B660M Ds3h mobo https://www.gigabyte.com/Motherboard/B660M-DS3H-DDR4-rev-10#kf

And its great for my i3 and while it says it can support higher CPU's I've seen in videos that the VRM's have heating issues at higher wattage cpus like the 125W 12600k.

So since the 13400f is only 7 watts more is it worth upgrading the mobo or should i stick with it and save some money?
