Hi, any car buffs out there? I am desperate for your help. This past week I have a very strange incident occur where I was chased by another vehicle. The vehicle could be related to another crime and it's very important for me to be able to identify this car. It was a four-door car. I believe it was black. If not black, a very, very dark navy but I'm pretty sure black. The car had been dented several times the doors on both sides. While the front and the back were slightly rounded, you know where the top of the doors are it was kind of a boxy shape. It was not a BMW. The thing that stood out the most were it had circular headlights 2. One on each side. It kind of looked like a car from the late 90s mid 90s maybe early 2000s. I don't know if it was that old. I was actually surprised at how fast it went. I think this was an add-on, but between the two headlights on a grill part was a flat long red light. It did not go headlamp to headlamp. It was centered in the middle. Again, this wasn't like a huge four-door car. It was not like a Cadillac if I would guess and I'm not a car person maybe like a Toyota or a Ford something like that I would've said Honda except it doesn't have shape of a Honda because it's more boxy less streamline if you have any car ideas of what this could be, it would mean the world to me.
Please share this post with your friends that may know. time is of the essence. &

If it was surprisingly fast, could it be 2002 Subaru Impreza/STI? Seems to fit your description as well
EpisodicDoleWhip@reddit
2008 Ford Mustang?
2000 Dodge Neon?
1998 Ford Taurus?
2002 Subaru Impreza WRX?

Sounds distinctive, and potentially used by a criminal. I’d go out in the evening nears bars etc and try to find it.

Driving recklessly? Dents on both sides?
Must be a Nissan Altima.
Malakai0013@reddit
Early 2000s Imprezas had round lights. Google "Impreza bugeye."

best i can do is go to a parking lot with lots of cars like airport or stadium and try and find a similar looking car
Oshawott51@reddit
According to r/whatisthiscar it's usually a Pantera.

I really appreciate anybody joining the conversation and helping I’ve been looking through car models all morning. I feel very frustrated.

Early 2000s jaguar Xtype?
seanf999@reddit
Maybe an E Class Merc from the early 2000s?

It didn’t seem that nice of a car but thank you so much for your response. Really appreciate it.

Google W210 Mercedes E Class, that’s the car OP is referring to

Could it have been a dodge neon by chance? Or a mini cooper? Or maybe a second gen Subaru Impreza bugeye. Those are all my guesses, look into them

Acura Integra sedan?
warmbutts@reddit
Maybe a VW jetta like this one? Most of them have square/rectangle lights but were circular.

As another commenter mentioned, we need a location. Even just the continent to narrow it down. Otherwise there isn't much to go off here.

Thank you for so much for your response. It was a newer car than that.
ian2588@reddit
Try a mk5 Jetta, they sorta have circular tailights

It would be helpful to post a location. A picture of the vehicle if there is one. There's a million 4 door cars that are black out in the world. Otherwise, the only people who can help are the local authorities.

I understand I was too busy trying to get away from the car to take a photo unfortunately. I have told the police the location but I don’t think that they have pulled the video files
Baileybest9@reddit
Potentially a volvo 240 with round headlight conversion
warmbutts@reddit
first of all where are you located? knowing at least the continent would be useful
4o4_0_not_found@reddit
Perhaps a second gen Lexus GS

In saying that I do not think the red light was a part of the car. I think that was added on, but I remembered the lights being very round.

Perhaps, but it really didn’t seem like a fancy car. It seemed like just like a cheaper four-door, but it was older I could be confused about the age range that I have given of the vehicle. It was a very bizarre car. I was extremely surprised to be chased like that because the front of the car was so different from anything I’ve ever seen. With the red light.
