Canadian pricing has 40k starting for the tg which is reasonable in my opinion considering the performance, but r/t phev pricing starts at 55k and then if you want the sunroof, sound system, and wireless charging pad it’s an extra 5k lol.
I doubt any of these will sell for those prices but it did instantly remove it from
Consideration. A 15k premium means almost 9000litres of fuel at $1.70 so with the gt getting 10L/100 and let’s say the rt gets 6L/100, that’s over 140,000km before the gas mileage savings kick in.
It honestly isn’t bad. This is for the Durango crowd and from what I’ve seen online with it’s performance, it is absolutely perfect for a family car. Fast enough to not be in danger but slow enough you can give it to your son when they turn 16 and not worry about them killing themselves in it. The RT variant though is a completely different story. That’s the dad mobile replacement and with there being no 4 door charger anymore, it’s a perfect replacement for that crowd. We’re a Dodge family so when we have tax write offs/kids in the next few years, this will enter our lineup.
