It's not like the children of fat Guatemalans will suddenly be born as 6'2'' Olympic athletes my dude. It is genetic because throughout the country's history oftentimes when a genetic anomaly (a tall Guatemalan) happened they weren't able to be fed correctly, so they either end up being short or die young without having kids, so the gene doesn't spread very much.

Oh yeah I’m not criticizing it at all, Hawaii has the fourth lowest divorce rate in the country; the other three NY, DC and NJ are full of rich people who protect themselves from divorce.
There’s something to be said about truffle hunting some slampig from Texas and realizing how deranged and abhorrent women from the mainland are. It really puts your own women on a pedestal and Hawaii has very clear traditional family roles so they have women who both deserve respect and will command it and want to act as a caring and supportive partner. First thing I did when I wanted to settle down dump the mainlanders, find a nice local girl and enjoying almost 10 years of the best life.

If you are malnourished during childhood your thyroid gland will stop producing somatotropin (growth hormone) very early as it’s already “battling” to survive and growth requires a lot of energy and nutrients.
Growing would also increase your metabolism needs and worsen your bones further (if you are malnourished as a kid, your bones will be more brittle all your life as body built them without enough proper material/energy)

Makes sense. Tallness is correlated with good nutrition and high quality of life, and women in more advanced countries have better shit to do than sit around popping out babies. Most of my female friends who have a master's or PhD are childfree. If you actually give people the choice of extra money and free time, vs. having to talk to a child every day for 20 years, the choice is pretty obvious.
