Got a 16" upper with a funky hand guard from these guys 2 days ago. $236 shipped. I hear they're actually decent but I won't know until it gets here.

This seems like a really good deal too. $197 for the complete upper. If I had spare cash I'd probably do this one too but unfortunately this is a very painful time for my wallet.

I think I got the same one….just received the shipped notification. I noticed that on the website, there were some uppers branded RTB, and the one I ordered was branded a “BG” (Bulider’s Grade), like this 10.5 upper here. I can’t find hardly any info on BG.

I assume BG just means they are made to order and assembly is required after you order. I’m just guessing because their RTB uppers don’t have any warnings allowing for time to be assembled before they are shipped but the BG uppers do.

Thanks, that might be it….someone else posted that they thought that statement meant some assembly required, but received his fully assembled. So what you said makes sense. They shipped 2 days after I ordered, so if it was assembled after I ordered that was pretty quick, lol. Hoping it is a serviceable unit for a range day beater.
