The best thing is when I get up in the morning and know I have boneless spareribs leftover in the fridge from last nights Chinese. I will eat it cold or heat it in the toaster or air fryer. I don’t really care what other people in my house will think.
If morality is subjective, then everything becomes permissable.
authorization for mass murder can come from generals in wartime, and you'll get a paycheck for it. As far as they were concerned, it was more than permissible
western philosophy established good and bad as subjective ages ago... hence god, as an 'objective' 3rd party representative of good, since human beans view of good would differ from each other.
It does become permissible in certain contexts, yeah. Like all the fucked up cultural norms some societies/tribes have that we deem morally wrong but are totally normal to them.
Granted, I think they’re disgusting and not all cultures are equal, but that is also my subjective morality.
I’m not afraid to admit that there are many degenerate and sickening cultures that I find morally wrong and that I do not want coming to my country or being treated as normal.
I’m just saying that the fact that they even exists means that morality is something that is formed by the environment you grow up in and, indeed, subjective.
That's a non-sequitor. It does not follow that moralityis subjective just because cultures exist that do morally disgusting things. That only proves that they're morally disgusting.
How would you feel if you didn't eat breakfast this morning?
Not how it works. The government doesn't physically prevent you from committing murder or r*pe, but if you do those things you will go to jail. The punishment for things not permitted comes after.
Its not a very balanced breakfast, a lot of protein but not a lot of nutrients that could be converted into energy expediantly like carbs or surgars so you'll be full yet tired from needing energy in the morning.
A better choice but not that good, bananas aren't that sweet and takes a lot of energy to be converted. I think he should honestly eat some bread or rice or something along that.
Thanks for the correction, Im not an expert on on these kinds of foods. Im sure that anon doesnt care if the bread is long, short, white, brown, black, white or with the whole seed as long as it can fit his mouth.
I mean yeah, as long as you're not a picky eater or have dietary restriction why should you care? Also if it doesn't fit in his mouth why wouldn't he just take a bite of cut it???
I swim early morning before work and lift weights after every day. I’ve skipped breakfast and lunch every day and just eaten a big low carb dinner. Plenty of energy all day and making good gains. I think carbs are overrated my dude. If you’re tired from a low carb breakfast you may have an addiction.
My dad has this friend/colleague, a 60yo bachelor born and raised in the mountains of Ukraine, he wakes up, finds some leftover stew in the fridge, eats it cold with a cigarette and goes to work in construction all day.
That guy is proof that you can eat anything for breakfast and be fine, all it takes is a bit of training.
If I carb load the night before I can do a more intense workout the next morning. If you’re chasing that high intensity, high performance, then yes, carbs help. If you’re just trying to be healthy and fit, they are not needed.
The idea of "breakfast food" is cringe. If you have the time and resources you should eat what you want. Personally I love to make pasta, rinse it off in the colander so the cooking process stops and all the starchy water goes away, then reheat it in sauce for breakfast.
Smoke them ahead of time. Vaccum seal and reheat via sous vide.
Sounds awful, I know, but I swear to God they taste even better than fresh. My dad does this. Thought he was nuts until I tried the same batch reheated that we made together.
Moral relativist when I strip them naked, chain them to a pole, whilst lathering them up with honey. I silently stand there watching them being eating alive by flies and vermin. Their screams of agony fill the air. Pleading for me to do the right thing and let them go. I calmly remind them "Morality is subjective"
Half the shit I see about “the normies” is just dwellers assuming normies are just as autistic as they are. Normies wouldn’t give a shit about you eating ribs for breakfast. Maybe crack a friendly joke but people don’t give a shit what you do with your meals bro.
Is the comment in OPP implying that it would be wrong for people to kill eachother? Wrong in some sort of sense that is beyond the preferences of himself or the normies, and would so justify his judgement on them if they were to preform such killings? Odd...
You can but it’s fatty and may fw your energy levels, (ignore if you’re a NEET who doesn’t need to get moving). Good old carbs and coffee are more effective in providing a sustained energy boost in the morning

"Morality is subjective"
"But don't tell normies or they will kill each other."
If morality is truly subjective, then killing people isn't actually "wrong," it merely contradicts OOP's subjective moral opinion.
If morality is subjective, then everything becomes permissable.
See now stupid "subjective morality" is?

No it isn't, some cultural norms are objectively wrong. You shouldn't be afraid to admit that.

Probably exactly how I feel talking to your dumbass right now

I don't play chess with pigeons who don't understand conditional hypotheticals
3-to-20-chars@reddit
everything already is permissable. everyone does whatever they want and no one has ever been able to change that
Tawdry_Wordsmith@reddit
*morally permissable. Having the physical ability to do something doesn't mean God won't pronounce righteous judgement on you for it.
Subt1e@reddit
What if god doesn't exist
Tawdry_Wordsmith@reddit
But He does, so thats a pointless hypothetical
Subt1e@reddit
He doesn't, honestly. You'd be better served devoting your time and thought to something real.
3-to-20-chars@reddit
he's not taking my physical ability to do whatever thing im doing away though so he's permitting it

the government isnt god
god can just not allow something, the government cannot
Tawdry_Wordsmith@reddit
Again, you're conflating physical ability with moral permission.
glasser999@reddit

Are you guys doing whatever you want??
back_reggin@reddit
Explain why I should have an opinion on your breakfast. You can have a bowl of ketamine and razor wire for all I care.
throwaway3point4@reddit
Is anon morally/ethically bound to saying the truth?
AlucardFromCastle@reddit
Its not a very balanced breakfast, a lot of protein but not a lot of nutrients that could be converted into energy expediantly like carbs or surgars so you'll be full yet tired from needing energy in the morning.
mcflymikes@reddit
Anon needs that glass of femboy milk alongside his ribs to have a complete nutritional diet.
AlucardFromCastle@reddit
That wouldn't really help? “Femboy milk” is also mostly protein
mcflymikes@reddit
Then he can deep throat some long and thick bananas.
AlucardFromCastle@reddit
A better choice but not that good, bananas aren't that sweet and takes a lot of energy to be converted. I think he should honestly eat some bread or rice or something along that.
mcflymikes@reddit
Yeah, a big long French baguette inside him will make it.
AlucardFromCastle@reddit
A dark baguette is a burnt one, eating something that burnt causes cancer, he shouldn't eat those.
mcflymikes@reddit
Im talking about those whole weat bread baguettes, anon will need to eat the whole seed to get big and strong.
AlucardFromCastle@reddit
Those aren't black at all, they're brown mostly, and long baguettes don't exist, they're just baguettes.
mcflymikes@reddit
Thanks for the correction, Im not an expert on on these kinds of foods. Im sure that anon doesnt care if the bread is long, short, white, brown, black, white or with the whole seed as long as it can fit his mouth.

Yeah carbs aren't necessary in the morning. Ribs wouldn't make you feel 'full but tired'. Carbs so help with workouts tho imo.
Jecka09@reddit

have you not seen how mutts eat their ribs? they are absolutely slopped with corn syrup

True actually, the sugars in the rub would be that carb boost. Im assuming the vegetables come from the ketchup.

Takes too long to make in the morning. Unless you cook ribs for dinner, then eat the leftovers for breakfast. That would work.

Kanye_Is_Underrated@reddit
ah yes the comfy morning routine of filling up a pot, firing up the sousvide and waiting 2 hours for your ribs to come to temperature
anyway sousvide fresh out of the bag is sloppy af, you always need to finish in the broiler for a couple minutes or torch it
GimpboyAlmighty@reddit
If you upset it up the night before and send it, you need only broil it a few minutes.
Still beats a proper 3-2-1 on fresh ribs every morning.
Ruby2312@reddit
Tbh it could just be more that you enjoyed the company rather than the food

leftover ribs
