Hey man, in case you didn't see this: https://arstechnica.com/gadgets/2024/11/big-beige-80s-pc-case-started-out-as-a-joke-but-its-becoming-real-in-japan/
I want it! Not positive if they're going to sell them outside of Japan yet, but if not, I'ma import the damn thing.

whoa that looks amazing. do you know how they can be shipped to the US?
BeardedBears@reddit
I've only ever imported things from Japan via eBay or another third party vendor like PlayAsia. I'm just hoping Silverstone sells this globally so it's straightforward to buy.

Wanna drool? Google the California PC's Super Server series of chassis. If its not there, try archive.org. You will not be disappointed. Well... you will, but not for lookin it up lol

Evercase claims to have beige with blue trim in stock: http://www.evercase.co.uk/index.php?route=product/product&path=63_89&product_id=117
Note that I've seen cases of that design in the wild, though, and the plastic is a kind particularly prone to yellowing.

I would pay handsomely for a modern, well-built, beige case with an 80s/90s aesthetic, and I can't believe I'm alone in that. Extra points if they also offered a desktop form factor. Towers aren't always necessary!

I want to design one so bad after spending hours searching and coming up empty. I just know it would cost tens of thousands of $ to produce a single run and Iād sell a dozen.

Who knows, this seems like the kind of thing that would get weirdly popular on Kickstarter. Hell, I'd fund it if it solved all the problems you get from using a real 90's beige case like no space for a big GPU and crappy airflow.

I'm wondering, many of the cases were just, an aluminum frame, with a plastic, face, facia? Might one, mask a modern case? I'm thinking of an, adapter, 3D printed perhaps, that accepts a common facia, for a modern small form PC case. Silly. :D

Time was the bigger case manufacturers would have pretty much a standard chassis with multiple front bezels, and even custom bezels for OEMs, but otherwise the exact same case.
Trouble is now all the cases are black making a beige one suddenly gets more expensive.

Your best bet is to find a beige ATX case you like off of ebay.
