How is this intel that can be used by peppers?
ImcallsignBacon@reddit
Some of us share a border with russia and see this as useful info..
antinomya@reddit
a little bit of propaganda never hurt anyone
PsiloCyan95@reddit
I’d say it’s circumstantial intelligence regarding the hidden ongoings that therefore shape our world. It may not be grand, but it’s intel at its core. Thank you OP

My gut feeling (if this person really is a NK soldier that was deployed to combat in Kursk) is that they are saying way more than they'd be privy to. The borderline poetic lines about how obvious Russia's losses and defeat is. The imagery of piles of burning bodies and machines topped off with the final statement affirming Russia's defeat. It is way too neat, way too performative.
I think it is likely that this is either totally fake, or that this statement is coerced/forced. Maybe I'm just conspiratorial, or cynical. But this is just way too "on the nose" for it to be a genuine hospital bed confession, in my opinion. There is nothing a North Korean boot on the ground could know, that Ukrainian and Western Intelligence wouldn't already know. It isn't like Kursk is behind a giant smoke screen. I call shenanigans.

Read the comments. The subtitles are wrong.
I’d agree the subtitles are fishy at best. The actual account is much more realistic and something people in this situation would say
cartmancakes@reddit
Is there a version where the subtitles are correct?
Jonnymixinupmedicine@reddit
I have only read translations on the linked videos comment section.

Foreign literature (and movies...and music...and anything interesting) is literally treated as contraband in North Korea and, if found, can result in the most hellish of punishments, up to and including lifelong incarceration and/or execution. Absurd as it sounds, a person can literally be sentenced to death for reading shonen manga in North Korea. Given North Korea's it-would-be-over-the-top-comical-if-it-weren't-so-depressingly-tyrannical hostility to all things that are not Korean in origin, there is no way a North Korean conscript would have knowledge of Baba Yaga. That is, at best, an exceptionally poetic and localized translation of the soldier's account, or, perhaps more likely, total bullshit.
Slava Ukraini nevertheless.
hhh333@reddit
Also, what he's describing is pretty much standard Russian military tactics.. their soldiers are always considered a disposable assets.
aipixelpioneer@reddit
The big subs on Reddit would eat this up and not bother to check. We cannot downplay NK and Russia like they do. They are a threat and aren’t a bunch of children, they have nuclear bombs. Also it doesn’t take anyone special with hi-tech do mow you down with an AK. It’s easy to joke and make fun of from the comfort of your computers
SlickRick941@reddit
You're absolutely right
MCtogether@reddit
Propaganda by the Ukrainians. Fuck them and the Russians.
Charlirnie@reddit
Since you are not for either side (which neither am i) what is your thoughts on the whole situation?
MCtogether@reddit
I think it's fucked. Territorial pissing match that we shouldn't be involved in. I don't think Russia has any desire to push further. I feel like they want to maintain a buffer zone between NATO and themselves.
Pdiddydondidit@reddit
why “fuck” the ukrainians?
MCtogether@reddit
Because they are trying to pull every9ne else into a fight that they started. Actually, NATO pushed Russia too far by moving nukes so close to their border after agreeing not to. The US helped overthrow a democratically elected Ukrainian government and installed the dancing comedian as a puppet. It's all bullshit. I feel sorry for the regular people there, but it's not our fight.
242proMorgan@reddit
If I put burgular alarms on my house and I get burgled, do I deserve to get burgled? No. Shut up.
MCtogether@reddit
How does that correlate to what's going on in Ukraine?
Sawgon@reddit
You sound mentally challenged with all this conspiracy. "Ukraine started the war" lmao.
IsItAnyWander@reddit
If someone says fuck the Russians, do you think they are referring to the Russian common people? And for Ukrainians, do you think they are referring to the Ukrainian common people?
Zerodyne_Sin@reddit
Other comments that are clearly Russian assets doing their thing with calling this out as fake or propaganda but none of that matters since this post simply doesn't belong here. It's not remotely qualified as intel in the context that's actionable or useful to preppers.
PrepperIntel-ModTeam@reddit
Mods determined your post is outside what we're looking for on r/PrepperIntel,
IsItAnyWander@reddit
Boy this really helps me prep.
Vegetable-Stop1985@reddit
Koreans on other subs say this is legit. The subtitles are out of wack.
Rollercoasterfixerer@reddit
Ahh yes, a soldier from the most controlling country, where they will kill you for simply having a book, is telling a story that makes his country look bad.
Use your fucking brain people.
EspHack@reddit
ive got no idea about any of this but this whole "nk soldiers for putin" story feels to me like angry toddlers desperately trying to shame someone
yeah sure it might be, so what?
