Help me choose a minimalistic AIO

Looking for an all in one cooler for a top end build. Planning ahead a bit for the new AMD cpus and likely will also get a 50 series graphics card when they drop.

I know AIOs are kind of memed in the PC building community but are there any that are actually solid? Eg. Provides better cooling than a fan, long lasting/ reliable/ low to no maintenance etc. Is leakage ever a concern?

Visually Im thinking something like the NZXT Kraken 360mm (all black, no real rgb aside from a screen on the pump) but I have no experience with all in ones, Id love some suggestions, opinions .. or even someone to talk me out of an AIO. I dont want to say price isnt an object but I’m willing to spend more for better quality cooling and a minimalist look.

Go Arctic Freezer III, the no-rgb black version.

Stealthy, minimalist, half the price of the krakens (if not less) and nice extra cooling for the ram / vrm - what's not to love.

fair enough. i just personally don’t really like having a logo front and center and the design kinda pushes me the wrong way. the performance is top notch though.

Arctic Liquid Freezer III. Pretty much the best. Super cheap, super good performance, imo pretty decent looking, no RGB if you don't like that, reliable and has good warranty. Not many downsides. The only one i can think of is that the rad is pretty thick, and might cause issues in some cases. NZXT is not something i would buy unless you REALLY want that display. Super expensive and generally some of the worst performing AiOs

Thank you for the response. I wouldn’t say Im set on the screen but it is a nice plus. (I have this weird vision of putting a piranha plant from mario on the screen) I do like the minimal look of the Artctic you suggested, will definitely consider it. Didn’t know NZXTs were one of the worse performers either.

Just FYI, on the Kraken non-Elite the screen is only a small rectangle in the middle, not the entire pump cover
