G6E Turbo …. I know that would break your symmetry, but for a year it was the fastest 4 door saloon you could buy and would spin its wheels in 3rd gear at 100kmh in the wet. IIRC the global head of Ford visited Ford Australia and was given one to drive while he was here. He refused to give it back and had it freighted to the USA. He had a GT40 at the time and still wouldn’t give the G6 back. I think we can conclude it was a lovable hooligan.

I believe that exact Volvo make and model scored the highest in safety tests and was able to hold its shape in a crash test, while most other cars would crumble. For the last not sure. I have a Ferrari Mondial QV which is fun. An Alfa SZ/RZ is a possible replacement. I wanted a early Diablo, but my house buying plans failed and then they jumped in price. I had considered a Testarossa, because the 512TR was too expensive. The real issue is I have more experience now. Owning the Viper taught me that most of the exotics/supercars/hypercars the media hypes up to get us to lust at, kinda suck on public roads. My Viper has 450HP and for not that much I could get to 900HP. 450 on a public road is a very fast way to going to jail especially in a torque V10. I enjoy the Viper, but I don't need another 1st gear queen. Right now I want to replace the rear end so I can use 2 and 3 more.

So no, I don't want an ACR or a gen IV or V to replace my lowly Gen 2 RT/10. I am not sure what I'd replace my Mondial with. I don't want some pie in the sky car that is worth so much that I can't afford to let it get damaged. I want shit I drive.

A 991.2 Porsche 911 Carrera. Base model. Red. A clean, restored Triumph TR6.
A 289 Cobra. A 2018-2024 Audi RS5 Coupe. A 1989 Corvette convertible.

Never came close to owning any of them, but I did drive a 73 Triumph GT6 for many years, but now (after a fire and many more years sitting) it's in "barn find" condition and needs someone to take it away and restore it...because such things are beyond me now.
