They want to ban all semiautomatic action firearms, like Australia did. Basically treat semi automatic the way full auto is treated now. The AR rifles are just a scary boogeyman they use to try and backdoor that in. They know the vast majority of “gun crime” happens with semi auto pistols, not rifles. Those aren’t as scary tho.

If we have to get rid of them then every police officer will have to give up theirs. The millions that Bureau of Land Management have will have to give up theirs. It’s misinformation. I showed my wife pictures of 2 different 10/22’s. One with wood furniture and one that was kitted out “AR style.”

My wife is pro gun but when I asked her which one is more lethal she pointed at the AR style. I explained to her the fact they are the same gun.

It’s just propaganda and misinformation perpetually shown all over tv and social media. It’s not even a conscious choice.

It’s called satire. But look at any anti-gun rally, listen to them try to explain anything about firearms and it’s absurdly ridiculous and blatantly untrue. I’m not talking agendas or proposed policy, but how firearms mechanically work or even current gun laws.
