How did I do?

Picked this up the other day on my way home from a jobsite. It's the first time I have bought a gun off just looking cool and seeming like a good deal.

F1 BDRx-15 Multi = 620.99 B5 adjustable stock Skeletonized F1 grip w/very aggressive texturing Fully Skeletonized F1 lower & Upper Skeletonized F1 Xs mlok handguard Watchtower Barrel & Break Ambi safety Extended mag release Magpul verticle grip = 21.95 Vortex crossfire red dot = 149.99 1x 30rd mag

Total OTD = 863.63

I only had the intention of getting a 400-600 dollar AR rifle, optic and grip for it, and a couple mags to have a dedicated plinking/beat the hell out of gun. But this was the 2nd cheapest AR they had in the store. I looked up F1 and everything I am seeing is significantly more expensive that the price I paid. I got it brand new in the box with no scuffs or blems. The texture cuts in the grip have already chewed up my hand a little bit and despite it being fully Skeletonized it weighs about the same as most other ARs due to the material thickness throughout.

I'm curious if anyone has one or has shot one a decent amount enough to tell me if this was a good deal. I can't for the life of me think of a reason it would be listed for so cheap when all of them I am seeing online are 2000-3000. I know F1 changed ownership and is now Watchtower but surely they wouldn't fire sale all the old inventory at that much of a discount just for having the old branding on them, right?

If anyone has any experience with these, is there anything I will need or want to upgrade on it? (other than optic, it was just the cheapest thing i could throw on it for now so it wouldnt be naked) It feels more solid than most other ARs I have owned and shot.
