The 4060 is not a bad gpu, bad gpus dont exist but badly priced ones do. I am not hating on any gpu like the 4060 or the 3050, i am only hating on just the price.
Its funny seeing all newcomers consider a 4060 as their first choice as if they all have seen many kids use the card and think 'oh thats a good gpu cause everyone has it' but that aint how it works, its a hype cause so called 'techtokkers' or fortnite kids want it. Atp Amd Radeon or a used 3070/3080(ti) gives better bang for buck.
The 4060 aint bad and draws a bit less power and has newer Technologies and a new architecture but 30 series should not be forgotten
L4T3_1@reddit
You cannot get a 3080 or even a 3070 with the price of a 4060.
309_Electronics@reddit
In the netherlands where i live i can easily find a 3070 for 300 and the 4060 also costs around 300
309_Electronics@reddit
Not even used?
L4T3_1@reddit
Probably not, at least not where i live. Here a 3080 is at least 500 bucks USED

First off in your parts list it shows a 5600 not 5600x. Second off Tarkov I know is a hard game to run not sure about cod. I know warzone used to require 32gb of ram it sucked it when I used to play. I would maybe consider saving up more and getting a better build for Tarkov. Try to get an amd x3d chip nomatter what. Those are meant for gaming.
L4T3_1@reddit
Bruh you don’t need an x3d chip for those games, or any games for that matter. You really are just the guy the companies like: overspending on parts and convincing others to do so as well. Those games are somewhat difficult to run, but no game actually requires an x3d chip. The 5600 is plenty with 32gb ram and rx 6750 xt.
xTUBULARFOOLx@reddit
As someone who plays Tarkov with better hardware than this and struggles to get 60fps I beg to differ. Tarkov is horribly optimized and runs like poop. I also never said he needed to get an x3d chip I said he should. X3d chips will boost fps in any game. PERIOD. Theres literally a 5700x3d and I think a 5600x3d coming out soon. How is that overspending? It’s more like proper budgeting if anything. I didn’t tell him to get the latest and greatest. I said any x3d chip that includes cheap ones.
L4T3_1@reddit
I don’t think it will fit into his budget. Also Tarkov is horribly optimized but he can turn the settings down if the performance is so bad… i don’t think he has the money to go with an x3d chip, and if he had he should probably go with am5 instead
xTUBULARFOOLx@reddit
Bro do you play Tarkov? Turning down settings doesn’t help in Tarkov. Tarkov will run like popo under 60fps on all low settings with better hardware. I have a 10850k and a 3090ti and get 40-50fps some games in Tarkov.
This is where proper budgeting comes in. Why piss money on not good enough hardware cuz that’s all you have instead of saving a little longer for better hardware that can do what you want it too? If he buys low end stuff and Tarkov don’t run he’s screwed. He spent all this money and still can’t play.
L4T3_1@reddit
The 10850 is very close in performance to the 5600. I agree that he should save more but not everyone has that much patience tbh. Also Tarkov will run like absolute dogsh*t with almost any parts because it’s so badly optimized. Lets just agree that he should wait more but if he doesn’t he can still somewhat play it
xTUBULARFOOLx@reddit
You are right on the cpu comparison. Thanks for reminding me how old my cpu is. 😂😭 yes Tarkov will run like crap and yes he should wait and save more. There are still budget x3d chips and it’s about getting the best bang for the buck. I’d rather get 60fps in Tarkov vs 50fps. It’s not much but it’s more performance. Seems like you just have a hate for 3d chips.
L4T3_1@reddit
No i love the x3d chips, it’s just that you usually need to give up AT LEAST one kidney to buy one. 😅
I’m running a r7 3700x right now and it runs pretty much everything i throw at it at least decently with the rtx 3070ti i have. I’m probably gonna upgrade to r5 7600x this christmas though and all the am5 things that have to be upgraded with it :)
xTUBULARFOOLx@reddit
I mean honestly yes the x3d chips are more than non x3d that’s supposed to be that way but cpus in general are just a kidney to buy one. My 7700k was $330 and my 10850k was $500. Now top end cpus are $700 like wtf? On top of that mobos have skyrocketed too.
L4T3_1@reddit
Yeah the mobo i need for the 7600x costs as much as the processor
xTUBULARFOOLx@reddit
I was looking at 7950x3d. CPU, mobo, and ddr5 ram $1k
L4T3_1@reddit
Isn’t the 7800x3d equivalent or in some cases even better at gaming? It’s only 500$ compared to the 650$ of the 7950x3d…
It depends what motherboard and ram is in the kit to determine if it’s a good deal or not. But i would say go with the 7800x3d because that’s what most people consider the best cpu for gaming right now, 7950x3d is more for productivity tasks and such. Could you send me a link to the bundle?
xTUBULARFOOLx@reddit
I’m trying to get cheaper by buying last gen. 9000 series 3d chips I’m sure will be more expensive. I will consider the 9800x3d. My reasoning for the cpu isn’t for gaming as much as multicore performance. My 10850k is severely bottlenecking my 3090ti. In gaming you always want to be gpu bottlenecked. So my first decision was x3d chip 100%. Next I have a 10 core 20 Thread processor. I do streaming, discord, chrome tabs, anything I have 3 monitors with stuff always on them. I need multicore alongside gaming upgrade.
The 7800x3d is king for gaming 100% especially being 1 ccd vs the 2 on the bigger chips. Problem is the 7800x3d barely has much more multicore performance than my cpu. If I’m spending a kidney on an upgrade I better be skyrocketing multicore performance too.
This is why 7800x3d is out. I wanted 7950x3d cuz its last gen hopefully price will go down. 9800x3d considering depending on price. 9900x3d and 9950x3d I’m sure will be way more expensive. Also I just put parts together on Amazon no bundle link. If you live close to a microcenter, they will more than likely have the best deals in store for any gaming equipment.
L4T3_1@reddit
Sounds good, but if im being completely honest, i think it might be slightly overkill, especially the 9800x3d. But if you have the money, go for it!
aVarangian@reddit
looks fine at a glance, but 8Gb vram won't age well

Pour c'est surtout sur les 2x8 que j'ai peur... 32 serait plus judicieux

VRAM
hop on a dingy boat and go learn English across the channel

Thats rude
aVarangian@reddit
non, it nes is pas rude. Or something. I won't apologise for by bad Fr*nch, deal with it.

Sounds like it might be bedtime for you 😴😴🛌

Modified your build. If you're okay with a smaller PC and don't plan on getting an Nvidia GPU in the future, you can refer to u/ltecruz's build instead.

For a bit more you can get on am5

I think 2x16 will be safer given that COD and still a big game...
