It's a velocity firearms kit that comes with everything except side plates and magazine. Got the side plates from 2a3d and some sten gun mags from centerfire systems
Thanks, not sure who the professor is but it works pretty well only ran about 70 rounds through it so far and only had one hang up and I blame that on the mag still having cosmoline on it.
I just checked the file you're referring to and this a way easier to do since it's a kit you basically put together like a puzzle instead of starting from scratch.
Damn good eye it's a 120v volt flux core mig from temu 🤣. The welds look like dog shit but they cleaned up pretty decent with some grinding and dremel work.
I welded with a p.o.s. Harbor freight flux core box for years. It’s damn near impossible to get a good looking weld with 120v on the wrong polarity, but it taught me how to get a strong weld with sub par equipment.
Yours look good given the equipment you’re using.
If you’re ever looking to upgrade, and you want to continue building “these things”, I’d highly suggest a little inverter Tig welder.
Thanks ill definitely keep that in mind. I'm not a welder at all. I just be practicing on scrap metal and what not. I'm trying to at least get half ass decent with flux core before investing in a decent tig rig maybe somtime in the future.

Any advantages to top cocking vs side cocking? I have no idea myself just wondering peoples thoughts on the difference
According-Prize-3119@reddit
Only downside is that it’s a bit snappier when it’s top cocking

The classic aesthetic. And i guess you can palm the edge of the receiver and the handle won't smack your thumb, thats for sure a positive

Do i need ffl to buy from velocity ?
Prize-Bar-1957@reddit (OP)
Not if you buy the kits.

Thanks mate

The construction of the frame reminded me Panther 9 Maschine Pistol from Professor Parabellum. Good work, thank you

Did you weld in your kitchen or just there for photos? Build looks really good!
Prize-Bar-1957@reddit (OP)
Haha no I didn't weld in the kitchen but I did bake the cerama coat in the kitchen oven though.

Oh nice!
