BAC, is my optic wrong or my eyes

Hi, I was trying BAC (bindon aiming concept) with my prism optic and when I try BAC the reticle appears above where it is when I close my other eye, is there something wrong with the optic or my eyes, cause I don't have this issue when I use a red dot.

Are you sure you are right-eye dominant?

I'm not sure, I think I'm left eye dominant

For the concept to actually work you have to zero with it and not switch back and forth.

really!? I mean I guess then if BAC with a prism is intended with CQB then it doesn't really matter then, at least its still on target but not precise.

With a dot you keep both eyes open………

Weird. You should not be able to see the reticle with your left eye so it shouldn't move when you close your left eye. Try "occluding" the optic by putting a piece of tape over the prism objective lens and do some reps like that.
