The car was built at Auto Union's Horch plant in Zwickau with Type 830 V8 engines and by the Ford plants in Cologne using their own 3.6-litre eight-cylinder V8-51 truck engines. The 2 cm anti-aircraft guns were occasionally mounted directly on the vehicle to increase its firing capability, thus creating simple self-propelled guns. However, the chassis was probably overloaded in this application. Such combinations seem to have been common in the Afrika Korps. Later, the chassis was also equipped with the 2-cm-Fla-Drillings-MG 151/20 as a field conversion

The last two pictures show a different vehicle, a Krupp Protze truck, which however also carried the designation Kfz 81, whose primary purpose was also to tow various guns, which was also often converted into gun trucks

Right, thank you. Pictures 2 and 3 show a Krupp L 2 H 143. Picture one shows a schwerer Einheits-Pkw (heavy standardised passenger car). However, both variants had the same designation
