Removals companies for moving within Milton Keynes

Does anyone have any recommendations / advice for removal companies? I am moving within MK. I have had quotes from Pickfords and Brittannia so far. Does anyone have experience of these?

Don’t use Removals MK (www.removalsmk.com) or Stan and van Removals. Lying b*stards

I used Stan and Van twice. They were great.

My neighbours used them. To say they were a disorganised nightmare would be an understatement.

I just didn't have that experience. They were solid both times I used them. They also came recommended by someone who had used them a few times themselves. I'm sorry your neighbour had this experience.

I'll throw in a "curveball" and recommend any international or at least nationwide company. Not always the cheapest if you're moving within the city, but at least the rates are always fixed (no hidden or extra fees), and they usually work faster. Also cheaper if you're moving longer-distance.

ASE removals. They live a few houses away from us, and we just used them a few months back. Great guys - great price. Very reliable.

I used https://makingyourmove.co.uk/ to move from London and the team doing the move on the day m went above and beyond.

I've used Stand and Van twice. They came recommended and drove down to East Sussex to get my stuff and bring it up to MK. I booked them the second time when I moved from my rental to the house I just bought. Reliable, quick, honest and friendly. I'd use them if I moved again.

We used these guys when we moved house earlier in the year and they were great, reasonably priced, good communication and the move went so smoothly thanks to them. I did get a quote from Pickfords at the time but wanted to go with someone local rather than a bigger company.

I used them last year. Unfortunately their van broke in front of my house, so had to move the move to the next day. Luckily I had time, so not a big deal. And they gave me a discount for inconvenience. 😅 Generally good.

Brendan’s were absolutely brilliant, and the cheapest by far, but I had absolutely no complaints with their service. Took furniture down and rebuilt it, and worked incredibly hard. It was all done in a few hours.

Ok thanks for all the suggestions.

Can recommend Hobbs.
Used them to move house earlier this year and was no fuss at all.
