Honestly, that's one of the best looking midsize SUVs out there. Miles better than the X5/GLE.

For a hot second there I thought I was looking at a Toyota Highlander. However yes it's not bad looking at all.

I love the design other than how low the back is. It makes it look like its squatting

Yeah, Lincoln has really been stepping up their design game lately

The Aviator is one of my favorite cars out there, but I can't even bring to consider one because of the unreliability. Are they really as unreliable as the Internet says?
Marcus_Brody@reddit
Ours is reliable and infuriating. The software of this vehicle kills it across the board for me. I thought I was just getting a luxury Explorer ST. But this thing must be engineered with the target market of 80 year olds who hate driving.
It's a powerful, great looking vehicle but it's hard to get passed all these faults.

I haven't experienced most of your points but this one was a real issue Though once I figured it out it's not that bad. I kinda had to get it down pat so my disabled father could get in the car more easily.

We don't see many aviators at our Ford dealership, but the Explorer which they are based on are junk.
Dangerous-Air2566@reddit
I won’t buy it because it’s made in China
DodgerBlueRobert1@reddit
You're thinking of the Nautilus. The Aviator is built in Chicago, right alongside the Explorer, as the two share the same platform and other bits.

We're 1 year in on a 2020. 50k miles. Minor issues only that were handled when we got oil changes, and all covered under the very reasonably priced extended warranty direct from Lincoln or recall activity.
Replaced rear window wiper motor - due to previous owner putting wrong blade on
Wheel speed sensor - went out on a road trip, we didn't have all wheel drive for a bit
Driver's side window switch panel
Camera recall fix

The early years of the new gen had a lot of issues from assembly, the last couple of years they seem mostly sorted though.

When was car shopping in 2021 i ran into a lot of manufacturer buybacks, which of course made me suspicious. I test drove 2. One of them got the blue screen of death during the drive. Had to restart it to make it work again. Suspicion confirmed. I loved everything else about them though. I just couldn't do it coming from a history of mostly Toyotas.

"Yes" - random guy on the Internet

I love the aviator, but... Im over here questioning my sanity with them saying that the seats are a light green, and that the perf pattern is a shooting star.
Kranthiuf91@reddit
This looks very cool. But I am worried about just reliability
Ghost_of_P34@reddit
Too bad they dumped the PHEV variant. Instead of making a better PHEV, they dumped it and... changed some interior colors. Cool.
DaOne_44@reddit
Lincoln owners don’t buy hybrids
Kriffer123@reddit
And hybrid buyers don’t want to be Lincoln owners
Ghost_of_P34@reddit
Probably because Lincoln hasn't made any worth buying.
