Although to be fair they did like a song from Quicksand, a sort of emo-adjacent band, they didn't seem to hate the song from Jawbox, another one, and though they said the Hum song sucked per Mike Judge that's only because they changed it before they got to hear the driving riffs.

I listen to all kinds of stuff so who knows. There are several bands I got into after I saw their videos on B&B - Flaming Lips, Reverend Horton Heat, the Cramps. So if they think my music sucks, it's their fault.

uh, you like that guy Jim guy that used to come into the Gas n’ Sip when he’d play at the Wheel Well. He’d play like 2 games of Centipede and beat the high score both times while his roadie filled the van. We snuck into his show once and he kicks ass!
