TRULY done?

Are the boys TRULY done, or do they just need another channel/streamer to pick them up and they'll be back? They've been my entire childhood and I can't even begin to bear them being done... π

As I understand they dissolved the production company, so unless they would really start over again there is no spontaneous coming back. And why would they.
PoleTooke@reddit (OP)
Wow, really.. That's... A hard core dissolve... Man... I am so so sad, I feel like my parents have died

They're done with car shows. Jeremy will continue work with his farm and pub. James May I think still has a few shows on Amazon... And a pub. Richard is the main guy at DriveTribe and creates YouTube videos for them. Plus he owns his own restoration garage

Still heartbroken nonetheless π’

I think they will have a special reunion at some point. Money talks and Jeremy likes money a lot.
IsaacJB1995@reddit
They'll probably do a Q and A for DriveTribe as a trio in the future
PoleTooke@reddit (OP)
I really hope!!!! I'm so so sad without the Trio in my life
Beahner@reddit
Truly done. At least for sure with doing a car type show.
Whether or not they decide sometime to get together and shoot the shit and record itβ¦.no one knows. Probably not even them at this point.
cazana@reddit
With world spanning car adventures?
Yes
But it would be silly if they didn't do some form of podcast.
Someone above said money talks and I'm pretty sure they all like money. Their podcast would be one of the biggest in the world from episode 1.
It would be the easiest check they've ever made.
Literally no manual labor.

Dude, I am 100% okay if its just puttering around in the m25 in new cars like Mr. Whilman wanted in the last episode. Heck, even just going round to the Clarkson Farm and power skidding some cars on a plot of his farm I'd be happy. I just... They've been a trio my literal entire life ;-;

I think we'll still see them doing television things for a while, but not together. And then those opportunities will gradually wind down as time passes. Jeremy will probably have TV and journalism work as long as he wants it, and James will have regular gigs as well, but I think Richard's going to struggle for gigs in a few years. His side projects don't seem to have been as successful.

64 63 54.
Those are their ages. They retired. These worldwide journeys are tiring and taxing, even for Hammond at 38. It's just not what May and Clarkson want to do in retirement. They want to retire and go home and sleep on their own bed every night.
I, for one, say happy retirement chaps.

me too... Just desperately sad cuz I love them so much

They intend it to be done. They've been doing motoring shows for a long time now, the world's political climate makes it more difficult to just wander anymore, and they're not getting any younger. They were able to do a proper goodbye this time and go out on a high note, so I think they're all happy to close the book on this chapter a move on.
It doesn't mean they won't ever get inspired to do a reunion of sorts, if the right idea or opportunity presents itself, but they've basically disbanded at this point, so its probably better to just embrace the memories and let them go.

Jeremy said heβs too old and fat to be getting in and out of little cars and going on adventures
snowmunkey@reddit
And luckily not too fat to get into big tractors
ochoroll@reddit
I think it means they aren't coming on anymore
dbkenny426@reddit
I'm pretty sure they're done.
