No, not by far. Our flags apart from the colors, look like nothing alike. Our flag has a Cross, because we are Orthodox Christians. The Israel flag has the star of David. You might not be a religious person, but i am sure that most people know the difference between a star and a cross.

This isn’t really a mark of intelligence though. If you have 350 million people, and 50 million aren’t idiots, add to that the most extensive research funding by any government in the world and you have high quality and, high output of research. I honestly don't know. It's a bit alarming, what people do, in order to get views and internet praisal. Even if someone has never stepped foot inside class or (i don't know) lived under a rock for this past 2 years, the Israeli flag and Israel in general, is constantly on the news.

But with the amount of Israelis I witnessed at the airport in Athens, where 2/3 of the people flying were Orthodox Jews, I would not be surprised that Greece will be blamed as Israeli supporters and one of the countries that aided their genocide, either by blocking war refugees to enter the country, accepting Israelis who commit the genocide and sending naval forces in Yemen...
Overall, very "proud" of being Greek...
