I have no problem with the language being called Romanian as long as their dialect is preserved.
I will still never call a Vlach from Serbia a Romanian.
They get annoyed - they’ve been living with us for hundreds of years and I wont ever want them to feel like they dont belong. They are one of the cores of our ethos and many gave their lives to protect it.
I already had this conversation several times and most times Romanians get so angry that i give up explaining.

It’s actually Vlach music from East Serbia. Maybe she has a bad accent as the singer is Serbian?

That’s why i was confused - this band goes around Serbia gathering old chants and songs turning them into modern music.
This album is mostly Eastern Serbia and mostly in Romanian.

It is a folk song. I don't listen to this genre really, so no clue if i ever heard it. That os how many sound really. Its sang in Romanian.
