Need help picking out PC parts
Posted by JustinGGTV@reddit | buildapc | View on Reddit | 3 comments
Hi all!
I currently have a prebuilt that's pretty old: iBUYPOWER - Gaming Desktop - Intel Core i7-9700F - 16GB Memory - NVIDIA GeForce RTX 2070 SUPER - 1TB HDD + 480GB Solid State Drive
I was wondering if anyone was willing to pick out parts for me on https://pcpartpicker.com/list/ and link it to me. My budget is 1,800 and I need ports for my headphones, mouse, keyboard, and an ethernet.
Thanks!

Not much to reuse, but if you aren't reselling or gifting your old PC you could perhaps reuse the case at least.
In any case, all new for 1800 I'd do something like this: https://pcpartpicker.com/list/tzjvwg
Right it's using a motherboard that might need a BIOS update, something you can do yourself with a USB flash drive. If you don't want to bother you can buy a slightly older cheaper CPU, loses a small amount of performance but not much: https://pcpartpicker.com/list/gjKnsh
Or a more expensive motherboard: https://pcpartpicker.com/list/dMKnsh
