Best Explanation for the Uninformed

Philosophically, i am a libertarian. I believe in small government, individual responsibility and rights, minimizing taxation, and the power of a free market. Still, I believe government should exist and perform certain tasks. I believe in certain regulations and certain manifestations of taxation.
I don't know that much detail about libertarianism, but I feel it is better as a personal philosophy than a political party. Where can I learn more about the movement and the best arguments in support of it?

Some good libertarian books to start with are The Road to Serfdom by Hayek or Libertarianism A Primer by David Boaz. For more ideas and reasons, websites like Cato Institute and Reason are also great.
