Thermaltake Commander FP Fan Hub help

Okay so I’ve had this problem for about a month now and can’t seem to get it sorted. I’ve read my motherboard manual, fans manual, hub manual, and just can’t seem to pinpoint the issue.

So I have 8 of the newer Thermaltake CT120 fans plugged into the Thermaltake Commander FP fan hub and regardless of where I plug it in to the motherboard, the LED’s on my fans will not come on and the Fan Hub is not recognized in the Thermaltake RGB software but they do spin. I previously had the older style Thermaltake TT fan hub in this build and it worked just fine with my older style/connection Thermaltake fans. However these newer fans required a different style connection which is why I bought the Commander FP which has said connections. I’ve plugged it into the same header I had my old one plugged into and nothing. So I tried all the RGB and the two ADDR_LED headers and still no RGB lights and it’s not recognized in the software.

I have the ASRock B550 Pro4 motherboard. Somebody said something about maybe voltage being a problem? Like the fans require a different voltage via the headers on the motherboard I’m using, thus not lighting up?

I’m just at a loss at this point and don’t want to drop more money on parts unless I at least kind of understand the problem.

Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance.
