Hello all Currently im in Munich on holiday and visiting my uncle. He “makes” his own honey and wants to gift some to me and my parent back in the uk. Im confused by the customs website a bit. As it’s my first holiday abroad as an adult. Iv seen aslong as its for personal use or gifting its fine but do i still need to go through customs?

Make sure you shout "I Declare Honey" when you walk through the baggage hall and you'll be fine.

I have a very, very minimal knowledge of Customs, but it looks like you should be fine and would not have to declare your honey.
This Government should notice reads that you can bring up to 2kg of honey for personal use: https://www.gov.uk/bringing-food-into-great-britain/meat-dairy-fish-animal-products
This Government notice reads that you only have to declare goods to Customs over your allowance: https://www.gov.uk/bringing-goods-into-uk-personal-use?step-by-step-nav=849f71d1-f290-4a8e-9458-add936efefc5

You will be fine, Mr Tuchel. You can bring in all the honey you like if you can bring the World Cup back here also.

Per this, you can bring honey in for personal use, so there's no need to declare it if you're coming via Germany.
