Perimeter Aviation Ground to Flight Waitlist Update

Current waitlist has 70~ people with about 20-25 people who have everything up to IATRA done.
In the last 10 months, 6 people got hired internally.
One of the recent internal hires waited 2 years and 6 months, and naturally got rusty with flying so he failed his CPT and got sent back to the ramp for another 6 months.
I hope this helps!

Not fixed wing myself, but… with the recent AC union deal, there should be some movement soon-ish? Also, currency, even if not in the airplane CAN be helped with a flight sim with basic peripherals such as a yoke, particularly IFR skills. This from own experience in the rotor world.
Also, should be able to go to one of the schools around Winnipeg to invest in an hour or two to G3’s some currency back. I know it’s pricy, but that’s monies spent towards your own career.

I totally agree! CPT failure is his own inability to keep current there’s no excuse for that. But the movement of pilot is not the problem as there has been about 25~ external hires over the last 10 months vs 6 internal hires :(

Ah yes, that’s totally understandable. Like I said, with the new agreement at AC, there should be movement again soon.
