I am putting together a list for my brother. Can you take a look and give some advice.

We have a Micro Center near us so we will most likely doing most of our shopping there.
Here is a link to the list.
He does have some Sata drives from an older computer we will be moving over as well.
Thank you for the help.

The bundles at Micro Center are great, but most other components tend to be overpriced (plus some components are just overpriced regardless, like Noctua coolers - the NH-U12S is a massively overpriced cooler that only competes with $30 competitors).
A few suggestions below that use the better 7600X3D combo at Micro Center, plus upgrade the GPU to a 7900 GRE, while increasing the storage drive to a 1TB and keeping a high airflow case for the same overall cost (using online retailers for all other parts). * CPU/Motherboard/Memory: The 7600X3D is anong the best gaming CPU’s and available only at Micro Center. The motherboard has WiFi and Bluetooth, plus the RAM in this combo is much better (two 16GB sticks of pretty good spec). * CPU Cooler: The Thermalright Phantim Spirit is one of the best air coolers in the market, far better performing than the NH-U12S, for less than half the cost. * Storage: Upgraded to a 1TB PCIe 4 NVMe for only about $15 more than the 500GB (which is very poor value). * Video Card: Upgraded to a 7900 GRE. * Case: Far less expensive white case with as good airflow, with four included 140mm PWM aRGB fans. * Power Supply: Less expensive 850w ATX 3.0 unit.

I feel like that could be better?
the single 24gb stick seems kind of questionable, and I get that that's part of the bundle, but still
but if that's actually $1250~, then I think you could do better
that's probably paying too much for a cooler
like a thermalright phantom spirit is just a very good cooler that's not too expensive
I really wish MC had a 7600 bundle with like 2x16 5600 or 6000mhz, but they don't unfortunately, because that is more what you are looking for, memory wise. especially at that price point
I feel like ssd's get to be exponentially worse value for smaller and smaller drives, which is generally why I recommend like 2tb drives, since there are decent ones around $100
so, I'm not sure if the actual price is like 1250, or if it's double counting the bundle, but for around the same price

you can have a 2tb drive and a decent kit of ram

Would this be better?

He does like that case but ill try to talk him into a more reasonable one. And ill pick up a phantom spirit off amazon. The selection of coolers at our micro center isn't great.

Seems good to me, dont know what your budget is.
BrownCoatz@reddit (OP)
Budget is probably around $1200. +or- a few hundred. I'll know more when my brother gets back in town.

Everything looks good, maybe a better CPU if you can find a bundle, but this one should also do. Btw you should write what youre gonna use the PC for since the builds change depending on function.
