My pc Began it's life as follows:
AMD Ryzen 7 3700X
AMD Wraith Prism 2800 (came with cpu)
MSI B450 Gaming Plus ATX AM4
Corsair Vengeance LPX 16 GB (2 x 8 GB) DDR4-3600 CL18 Memory
Samsung 970 Evo 500 GB
Gigabyte WINDFORCE OC GeForce RTX 2060 6gb
SeaSonic M12II 620 W 80+ Bronze (I've actually been using this psu since 2011 and just replaced it today)
As of today I've upgraded the CPU to a AMD Ryzen 7 5700X3D, Cooler Master Hyper 212 Black Edition, Added 2x more sticks of matching ram (32gb all together), GPU to an Sapphire Pulse AMD 6700xt and a Corsair RM750e 80 gold+ . A part of me wanted to continue to use the old PSU for the thrill of how long it will actually last. The thing is old enough to be a freshman in high school and this definitely 100% doesn't make me feel old as i type this. But anyway the actual question at hand is, is this build enough to play FPS games (escape from tarkov, cs2) at 1440p with 144fps+? I don't play AAA single player games at all so im not worried about 1440p ultra settings or anything. I'm still using an old 1080p monitor ( Acer Nitro KG251Q VA panel). Now theirs nothing wrong with this monitor but i feel like the jump from 1080 to 1440 would be the next reasonable upgrade path (unless someone has a different suggestion ofc).
I'm looking to spend no more than 200$ for a 1440p IPS or OLED flat screen monitor. I don't need the bells and whistles just fast response time 144hz or more. I don't mind buying a used monitor if the price is right. So far I've found two on ebay that seem decent enough
If anyone could point me in the right direction for a new/used monitor or if the 200$ would be better spent on the PC, don't be afraid to lmk ! thanks.

I would not 1440p with anything less than a 6800xt.

i've done extensive research and the games i play 1440p would work just fine with the 6700xt . I would agree if i was playing AAA titles on ultra settings but i'm a competitive gamer i don't play ANY singles player AAA games.

And when that changes you'll regret the decision. Games will become increasingly demanding as years go on, and so does software. What's 'okay' now will become 'inadequate' very quickly.

Well i've gamed all my life and never touched a single player AAA game ( this is not an exaggeration) or multiplayer for that matter. It was halo on console into 1.6 into css into csgo into cs2 (sad face) and escape from tarkov/classic wow/League of legends. MAAAAYYYBEEEE some random games here and there for 100ish hours (PoE, Last epoch, Civ VI.) https://steamcommunity.com/profiles/76561197985725738/games/?tab=all
I'm not really sure what decision im going to regret either? Buying a 1440p monitor?

I think the 6700xt is more of a 1080p card these days, though I'm sure it'll still run plenty games just fine at 1440p, just maybe not newer AAA, which, if that's not a critical concern for you, then yeah, it's probably a reasonable card
I know the dell g2724d is supposed to be decent and usually isn't too expensive in the US
