HDMI or Display port?

I recently finished my first pc build that includes an rx 7600. I'm playing at 1080p with freesync and I was wondering if the display port's higher bandwidth will create a more stable experience. Is it worth it or will I see no differences?

what refresh rate is the monitor

The monitor is 100hertz but I rarely play at that refresh rateĀ

Then it won't be a problem

You'll likely see no difference but display port is technically superior and isn't a minefield of different standards.

So will there be any even theoretical advantages of using display port over HDMI?

If the monitor supports its resolution and refresh rate via both of them, you wouldn't notice a difference.

The monitor is 1080p 100hertz and that's what I use it at. Now in triple A games like Forza horizon 5 I have it locked at 60 with freesync. Should I at least give it a shot or not bother?
