Need help choosing a fan w/ a black and decker battery 20V

Hello! I have read through posts here and found great suggestions for (power tool) battery operated (job site) fans. Unfortunately, I started my DIY power tool journey with Black and Decker and have many of the tools they offer. I am trying to save as much money as possible, ideally not go above $100.
-I see some options online for unknown brand job site fans that are compatible with Black and Decker batteries 20V, but I have no idea which ones might be junk. I also don't know enough to know if a junky fan could fuck up my battery (I assume not).
- I know you can use an adapter for certain batteries to have them work with other brands, but I don't know if someone knows of an ideal combination for a Black and Decker 20V.
I have it narrowed down to a brandless fan with my battery, adapting to a Ryobi fan if possible, or looking at adapting to a Dewalt fan. Ryobi and Dewalt got the most praise over time in the many posts I have read through.
Please offer any input you have, thank you so much! I am open to more robust suggestions, but right now I am preparing for a possible third storm coming to Florida, and power outages are primarily when I will use this fan along with outdoor project use.
PS. Please don't drag me for Black and Decker, I was very new to DIY with no one to teach me, they were always on sale and affordable, and I've had them for about 10 years, no issues.

Your submission has been removed because it is not focused on the topic of prepping. As a general rule, if you have to engage in a lengthy explanation to justify why something is prepping-related... it probably isn't.
That said, you may reference products, news, current events, or politics as a way to lead into a discussion of prepping, but the main focus of the post or comment should always be on prepping.
Posts referencing politics should be framed in a neutral manner, should not include partisan language, insults, or insinuations. For example alarmist posts about "Prepping for Project 2025" are not permitted. For more specifics on politics, please see this post: (https://www.reddit.com/r/preppers/comments/1apw7wx/policy_regarding_politics_2024)
When asking about or discussing products, simply asking "what is the best..." or ask about generic features or capabilities is not appropriate here. If you are looking for information on a product's features or capabilities, you should post those questions to subreddits dedicated to those products.
While firearms and other weapons have a place in prepping and prepping discussions, r/prepping is not a self-defense, firearms, or tactical gear subreddit. This is not the best place to ask which caliber, which gun, which scope, etc. Specific questions relating to these topics should be posted in subreddits dedicated to those topics.
You are welcome to reword your post and resubmit. Feel free to contact the moderators if you would like clarification on the removal reason.

You can usually find an adapter like this. Plug your 20v black and decker batteries into the dewalt fan

Thank you!

Do you have links to the products you're considering?
I personally don't use power tool batteries for things other than power tools. During a power outage, if you have no way of recharging those batteries once they are depleted, you're going to want them to use tools if you need them.
Needing to use the tools but not having the battery power to do it because you kept a fan going is not going to feel good.

Yes, I am looking at any of the lower cost Ryobi/Dewalt fans and looking at all, but particularly this unbranded fan, though I am open to another option, it's just the one that popped up with decent reviews.
Fair point, re: using the tools. I had planned to snag a second battery as a backup for my tools. But, this felt safer. I have a rechargeable fan, but it doesn't last too long and I currently just have tiny battery packs to charge things with. Maybe I should forget this entirely and look into a camping generator or something. I'll check your fan suggestion out, ty. :)

I would recommend you check my recent post about preparing for a Power Outage. It is where the fan came from and that list will help you with other items.

I was reviewing that, and it's great! Thanks for sharing. I'll keep the fan in mind.

Happy to help. Let me know if you want something you don't see on the list. I am always trying new stuff and expanding the list.
