Looks just like the launchers they made for repurposed spg9 rockets.

Well yeah since its the same projectile as rpg7 and same caliber lol

It's not the same projectile. The RPG-7's line of HEAT munitions are the PG-7 series, the SPG-9 and 73mm 2A28 Grom use the PG-9 series.
The SPG-9 and 2A28 both use a much larger launching propellant charge and the munition has a higher initial velocity, around 500 m/s with a PG-7 being around 100 m/s depending on variants. The sustainer rocket motor provides around 20% greater maximum speed than the PG-7 series, and around double the range before self-detonation.
The launch tube of a RPG-7 is 40mm. The SPG-9 is 73mm, same as the Grom.

Its the same heat projectile ofc the way it is launched is different but both warheads are 73mm and they just use the warhead and they still need to change the charge adding counter mass etc, and well yeah launchtube for rpg7 is 40mm but its just the tubę while it can akceptacji even 110mm warheads with the back of the 110mm warhead is still 40mm

It's not the same HEAT projectile.
The sustainer motor is located at the ass of a PG-9. See here.
The sustainer nozzles on a PG-7 are just behind the warhead. See here. Note the canted nozzles, that's the sustainer exhaust.
They're not. The PG-7 series comes with warheads with dozens of diameters. The PG-9 series is only 73mm.

U dont understand, the warhead the actual warhead that contains the Copper liner is literally the same size the 73mm one and duh obviously the pg-7 comes with different caliber but it also has the 73mm one that was used in the launcher and ofc the sustainer nozzles are different cuz the operating system is different but in the fisposable launcher is the same system operating with countermass just borrowing the 73mm warhead that are the same in rpg7 and spg9 jesus chrisy man

Do you know what the difference between similar and the same are? I'm guessing not.
The PG-9 uses a steel liner.
They are similar. They are not at all the same.

It like an improved version of the Prig launcher.

Stupid question but what is the advantage of this over an actual RPG-7? An RPG-7 is literally a Venturi tube with a firing pin and trigger mechanism consisting of three moving parts and a spring, hardly requires much sophistication or tooling to produce.

Not stupid. Their concerns were not simplicity but where it could be used.
They were fighting in Urban areas, often inside buildings. If you shot a rpg inside a building you or your friends would most likely get serious hurt. The disposable rockets had a counterweight, which acts as a mass going in the opposite direction after firing. This reduces back blast and therefore makes the rocket more safe to use indoors.

Actually pretty smart. I often wonder why the Davis system isn’t more popular. I assume weight has something to do with it.

Here is a pdf that covers more of it and shows different variants with bigger and smaller calibers https://www.conflictarm.com/technical/islamic-state-recoilless-launcher-systems/

Countermass? Did someone dissect an Armbrust
