I'm looking to ship a colt model 1851 navy
What would be a legal way to ship that?

Google hasn't been much help

What are you googling? If you're not getting answers to most questions you aren't searching the right way.

If you're in the US then it's not legally considered a firearm and no FFL is required. Good practice to require signature confirmation from someone 18+. Package it properly and put it in a box. If the UPS store asks what you're shipping, tell them it's an antique.

You can ship it however you want. Any carrier. Just no ammo, powder, etc.

To an FFL?

No
It's legally an antique so no ffl is required
