I originally had a higher budget in mind but I decided to go lower and if I wanted to upgrade parts I would wait a while to. Is this a good build for a beginner who wants to start playing in 1440p?

mainly for gaming but could also do things like online work, watching youtube videos, using social media, etc

It's a alright build, but you forgot to add fans. And I would also change the CPU to a X3D cpu which performs way better than the other 7000 series.
