Nothing against electric cars or hybrids but I don't like EV conversions.
It takes away the much of the feeling and experience of a classic car.

I generally agree, but if it's a Land Yacht then EV is the ultimate smoothness.

No mention of cost. Also only 150 miles of range

Both non-issues with this build in my books.
Most restorations or resto-mod discussions don't show what they spent. Most project cars are black holes of cost that you aren't building for a financial return. This one is also a marketing thing for his business/passion.
As far as range. 150 miles seems pretty reasonable. Most daily commuters do less than this, and I'll wager a guess that with a gas engine this thing would only ever do a few miles at a time for a Sunday drive or cruise out for dinner. I'm guessing this one hops on a trailer to shows etc.
Seems a heck of a lot more interesting than every other Mustang that some guy would resto-mod and drop a crate motor into.

I think you're right. Restomods often go over 100k. And a lot of the time probably only cover a few dozen miles at a time. While I prefer the V8 specifically a pushrod 302. I think the electric conversions are cool. Especially when they're 4wd made for the drag strip.

I'll be the one, this is awesome. I hope we see a lot more EV conversions in the near future, including some less cool cars. It seems like these folks went all in on the EV drivetrain (I can only tell so much from the photos) but even the more kludgy conversions, like the guys who put forklift motors in front of factory manual transmissions, are just so cool
