Finishing drivers ed in Maine after moving from Maryland

I recently moved to Maine and i'm trying to figure out the requirements and everything for getting my drivers license. About 2 years ago while i was in Maryland i got my learners permit and completed the full course of drivers ed classes, however i did not do the required hours driving with a qualified driving instructor. Would i have to retake a whole drivers ed class or can i get my stuff transferred from Maryland and just find a driving instructor to get my required hours driven? I should also note my learners permit is expired so i will be retaking the test for it but that particular part isn't of worry for me.

Did you do your coursework through a driving school .. in person or online? If so, did they give you any kind of completion certificate for that portion? My thought is that if you have that, then you may be able to get the driving hours in with a school in your new area as many schools offer them as separate options.
