Do I use my blinker when coming out of a parking lot and turning onto a one way street

Taking my drivers test on friday and was just wondering this! Any feedback is appreciated. I’m located in California if that makes a difference!
Edit: Thank you everyone for the advice! And to the passive aggressive comments, Why do you believe everyone should just know things! Common sense is TAUGHT and learned. Not just known. I was confused and asked a question

I never have, even in driver’s training classes. I honestly don’t know what the law is in my state. Hardly anybody uses white turn signal coming out of parking lots at all, though, so I assume it’s not required. It certainly doesn’t hurt, though, so I doubt you’d get dinged for it in a driving test.

The question, “is it required?” is a huge problem. “Would it potentially be beneficial (even when there is no traffic, if there were traffic)?” Is hiw people NEED to think of it.

True. Although I can’t think of any benefits to it. Literally nobody on the road cares as long as you don’t pull out in front of them. And nobody waiting behind cares, either, because it’s a one-way street, so there’s only one way to go. Even on a two way street, it doesn’t really matter to anybody behind you because you’ll either be in the correct lane for the direction in which you wish to turn or there is only one exit lane and there’s nothing anybody can do anyway.
But, I also don’t see how it could be a problem. It’s not going to hurt. So even if you decided to use it, I don’t think you’d get marked down on a driving test for it.
