does anyone know of a good store to get good coffee beans besides your big box stores? im really getting into grinding my own coffee and looking for something a lil more exciting than starbucks or peetes.
at the same time im not looking to pay $30 for a bag of coffee LOL.
thanks fellow coffee lovers!

We order from cavallinicoffee.com. They supply a lot of the restaurants and some city facilities in the area. They are based in Dallas. Whole bean or ground choices. Our favorites are the French and Italian blends. Happy grinding!

Heaven forbid someone doesn’t read through ALL posts on Reddit before asking a question

It is called "doing a search". Rather than re-asking the same question over and over, like "Best sushi in Plano?", you can actually do a search and find the information. The search bar at the top literally says "Search in r/plano".

Another vote for Addison Coffee Roasters. You shop directly at their store in Addison, online or find their beans at Central Market.

In Plano, Lemma is my go-to for coffee beans. They roast their own and it’s really good. If you find yourself in downtown Dallas, Noble Coyote is my favorite roaster in the DFW area.
I know you said no big box, but Whole Foods carries a number of local coffee roasters as well (like noble coyote).

Coffee Del Rey in Plano and Eiland in Richardson roast on site.
DowntownComposer2517@reddit
These are both my top choices as well!
TxDirtRoad@reddit
Eiland also offers a shipping option if one wants to avoid the drive.

good to know! thank you

The owner of Eiland is cool. He gave me a tour of the roaster one afternoon.

Amazon has a really wide selection too 😊

Definitely check out Central Market and Whole Foods. They have sales all the time to try new beans. My absolute favorite is Avoca Coffee Roasters, they're from Fort Worth. Have fun with you coffee adventures!!

Empty_Sky_1899@reddit
Central Market carries several brands from small roasters.

Tre Stelle! Awesome little roasterie and shop on Preston, (just past Frankford going south) some of the best coffee I’ve ever had.
