That sounds like the kind of show that airs at 2 a.m. when you've already exhausted all other options, and hey, maybe that’s where it belongs. I mean, who really wants to watch contestants get quizzed by a wizard who’s mostly known for standing on a bridge and yelling at demons anyway? No offense to Tolkien fans, but I’m a little tired of the constant regurgitation of Middle-earth nostalgia in every form of entertainment. It’s almost like people refuse to move past their favorite childhood stories. Would the challenges involve riddles and walking really slowly, dragging out adventures beyond necessity? What's next? A debate show called "One Does Not Simply Argue"? Maybe it's time to put the staff down and let some original ideas breathe. Honestly, if that's what passes for creativity these days, we’re in serious trouble. But hey, if people get excited over answering Tolkien trivia for the fiftieth time, I guess I’m the odd one out.

"At this point in the game, you'll be allowed to choose a lifeline. Which will you choose, Legolas' bow or Gimli's axe?"
